The Portfolio Continuum - "ALL of the things!"

✨pulled from the archives✨
This is one of those projects that stayed with me because of the process.
The client didn't know what she wanted. She gave me the space to explore a few different directions and figure it out together.
So we went through a number of iterations.
Some concepts leaned into high contrast. Others brought in richer textures and more visual weight. Each version helped us get a little closer to what felt right and what didn't.
Over time, things started to shift.
We pulled things back. The palette softened. The layers became more intentional. Instead of adding more, we focused on what actually needed to be there.
The mirror helped carry light through the room and open it up. The materials did most of the work, creating depth without relying on excess.
By the end, it felt natural. Like everything had landed where it was supposed to. Nothing felt forced.
Those are the projects that stay with me.
The ones where there is trust. Where someone lets you explore, try different directions, and slowly arrive at something that feels aligned.
That is what this one represents for me.
Not just a finished design, but a process that continues to shape how I approach space today. ✨
I worked on this client's entire new apartment. If you're curious about the other spaces, feel free to check them out here:
