I like to imagine Basil came from a home where dinner parties were in abundance. His family loved to gather and entertain. They had exquisite taste in dinnerware, fresh flowers were always arranged before guests arrived, and Basil could never wait to see how the host and hostess would dress the table next.
He quietly watched birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and countless evenings that stretched long after dessert. Every place setting was a little different, every centerpiece had its own personality, and every guest brought another story to the table.
After many wonderful years together, Basil eventually found his way to Mrs. B's Trinket Adoption Society, where he's patiently waiting.. ready for his next dinner party. 🥹♥️
