Likely made sometime between the 1940s and 1960s, this tiny ceramic skunk has an almost painfully sincere sweetness to her. The way she curls around her tail feels less dramatic and more devoted somehow, like she’s carefully admiring something she’s been trusted to keep safe.

She feels especially suited for people who cry over old photographs, keep birthday cards in drawers for years, or instinctively cup fragile objects in both hands. There is something very comforting about her. Like she would absolutely sit beside your jewelry tray making sure nothing precious ever feels forgotten.
