Deputy Sonny Beau takes his responsibilities extremely seriously despite the fact that nobody formally assigned them to him.
He has appointed himself protector of:

• unattended jewelry

• and generally “keeping an eye on things”
Though roughly three inches tall and visibly inexperienced, Sonny carries himself with the confidence of a man who believes he could absolutely survive a dramatic saloon standoff if necessary.
Unfortunately, his actual qualifications remain unclear. 😭
Likely made sometime between the 1950s–1960s, Sonny is a tiny vintage cowboy whistle featuring hand painted details, bright golden hair, and a little acrylic display stand.
Honestly… he seems far more interested in being helpful than intimidating. ✨

Meet Rusty 🐴
People assume the Deputy always had a horse.
He didn't.
For years, Sonny Beau patiently watched over his little corner of the world on foot, whistle at the ready, never complaining.
Then one afternoon, while wandering through a little antique shop, I noticed something tucked between a stack of old books.
A weathered cast iron horse.
His reins were still in place. His saddle still carried tiny embossed details. His paint had worn away in all the places that told you he'd already lived a very good life.
The moment I picked him up, it felt obvious.
He'd been waiting for his Deputy. 😭😭😭😭
I brought Rusty home that afternoon.
Sonny Beau hasn't stopped smiling since.
